At Link Logistics, we strive to make an enduring positive impact inside and outside the firm. Our employee resource group (ERG) program is one way we are cultivating a diverse workforce where every voice is valued, every perspective is respected and every individual feels empowered to contribute authentically. ERGs are a key resource for promoting awareness and creating supportive communities for employees as we foster an inclusive culture.
The Social Impact department has been building processes, programming and tools that make starting and leading an ERG for any employee at the firm easier and more effective. In 2024, this effort led to the expansion of our ERG program to five total groups with the addition of three new communities:
EMRG, ¡HOLA! and ProVet join two preexisting Link Logistics ERGs:
More than 66 percent of Link Logistics employees are engaged in at least one of the firm’s ERGs.
“It is inspiring to witness the momentum of our broader ERG community,” said Zachary Banks, a Pride board member and incoming chair of the group. “Every ERG learns from one another as we strengthen our collective impact across the company.”
The boards of all five ERGs and their executive sponsors recently convened for the 2024 ERG Summit in Dallas to build community and plan programming together for 2025.
“Our employee resource groups are at the heart of our commitment to building an inclusive workplace by not only helping support members but also educating colleagues across the firm,” said Link Logistics CAO Sonya A. Huffman. “Attending the recent ERG Summit with over 30 colleagues leading in their defined roles and beyond was an uplifting experience. Their dedication to building active communities and fostering meaningful allyship is driving real impact.”
