Link Logistics Cookbook Celebrates Firm’s Diversity of Cultures and Identities

Link Logistics team members recently received a special delivery to their homes: The firm’s first-ever cookbook, which celebrates the wide variety of cultures, heritages and identities found across the company.

The hardcover tome features recipes contributed by more than 80 employees representing nearly every department and level at Link Logistics. Many of the dishes reflect team members’ ethnic backgrounds, while others are long-standing family recipes that reach back multiple generations. The firm’s 2023 DEI Committee spearheaded the effort.

“I am very excited about this cookbook because regardless of our individual backgrounds, we all share a love for food,” said 2023 DEI Committee member Fran Liguori, an associate property manager at Link Logistics. “Nothing brings people together like good food. It helps us find a common point of view and is always a great conversation starter!”

From lumpia to bulgogi to a goulash first served by one team member’s great-grandmother, the recipe book is stuffed with mouth-watering dishes. Link Logistics CEO Luke Petherbridge contributed instructions for making sausage rolls popular in his native Australia and lauded the cookbook effort in a post on LinkedIn.

“At Link Logistics, diversity of thought leads to greater innovation which we believe delivers great outcomes for our customers and stakeholders,” he wrote. “To celebrate the fabric of the Link team we created our first ever cookbook. This gift to employees across the firm contains an array of cherished family traditions, sweet and savory treats, and dishes. Thank you to each employee who contributed.”
