Link Logistics Partners With Project Destined to Launch First Industrial Real Estate Bridge Program

Link Logistics recently collaborated with Project Destined to produce the nonprofit’s first-ever Industrial Real Estate Bridge Program. The five-week program supported Project Destined’s mission to help young, diverse talent unlock careers in real estate through professional development, networking and mentorship opportunities.

“At Link Logistics, we recognize the importance of expanding opportunities for future talent within our industry,” said Grace Beaudin, senior director, Social Impact. “We look forward to continuing our work with Project Destined as we support the next generation of industrial real estate leaders.”

170 students from 80 universities applied for the program, with 30 students invited to participate. A series of virtual learning events featuring Link Logistics leaders who shared their personal journeys and discussed industrial real estate:

  • CEO Luke Petherbridge shared executive insights.
  • Sonya Huffman, chief administrative officer, and Emmanuel Maldonado, property manager, gave students an overview of industrial real estate and property management.
  • Britt Winterer, chief development officer, discussed development and financing.
  • Nuong Ong, senior manager, Talent Acquisition, and Chris Lowery, assistant vice president, Talent Acquisition, shared early career opportunities at Link Logistics.
  • Megan Shelley, associate construction manager, Construction, and Sreya Tolety, manager, Data Science & Energy, covered the connection between sustainability, data and construction.

The program received great reviews from participants, with 100 percent saying they were “very satisfied” or “satisfied” with their experience.
